This work is based on the belief that ancient Athenians held that if a man had a smaller penis that meant he was more intelligent and civilized. While a man with a bigger penis was considered more animalistic and a brute. Which is why they depicted themselves with smaller penises and their enemies, like Spartans, with very big ones.
