Mixed Media on Wood

A variety of material is used to represent Trinidad that are attached objects. I painted on foil the lovely Avocat Waterfall. The captivating San-Fernando Hill I painted on raw cloth canvas. Glittering graphite material connected to cotton cloth expresses the country's Pitch Lake. With red beads I made the national Scarlet Ibis bird that flies with grace. I painted on white foam the slow and intriguing Leatherback Turtle. Pretty plastic was used to highlight Palm Tree leaves. Paper cut outs from my painting Maracas Bay Song added splendor to the image.

“In this image are represented features of the country Trinidad which is outlined with yarn and glued to wood. Artist Link: https://artspaces.kunstmatrix.com/node/5830762 https://artofwhere.com/artists/joy-in-art
