Meadow School: Concept Model Exploration

Model exploration for Meadow School.The concepts of this project are nature and growth, and the project is further guided by the metaphor of a meadow, a place that fosters the curious and light-hearted spirit of children and represents a safe and sheltered space for children to play, explore, learn, and grow.Initial modeling (top) explores the idea of the meadow forming and intertwining with a school structure, creating a central space that feels safe and sheltered, though still open and free.Secondary modeling (bottom) explores this same principle, though with irregular and undulating surfaces playfully woven with colour. These surfaces form an in-between space—somewhere between indoor and outdoor—integral to the projects form.
