Starting from digital collage, this work plays with perspective and sense of depth through the layering of images.

“Wanting to experiment with breaking the picture plane, this work started as a digital collage with a focus on seeing the different ways images could be layered on top of one another. Glass features three layered photographs of the same area, with the idea of the viewer looking outside a window, playing with the sense of depth. The idea behind this work, glass, stems from the idea of windows altering perspectives when seen in different lights or point of views.”
