This piece explores my experiences in my new home, Canada. and looks at the remarkable cultural diversity within where the city I grew up in, Toronto. The objects and images in the background symbolize this rich tapestry of cultures, as well as the history of Canada. I reflect on how, over time, I started to lose aspects of my own culture while embracing and learning about those of others around me. Through art, I grapple with these feelings and use it as a means to express myself to others, particularly during my shy childhood years.
