Hidden Order is an Interactive art installation to show how a simple form goes through a process resulting in a complex outcome.

“The inspirations for these projects are coming from Sol Lewitt’s drawings and William Latham’s ideas of repetitive organic forms that occur in nature. In this collaborative project, Laurel McLeod and I used organic and geometric forms and their combination based on rules. We are living in an infinite world; therefore, our question to create these pieces was how we could create something infinite in a specific time? In this regard, we decided to use a combination of two different materials. We used bowls as solid geometric forms and plasticine as a flexible material to create the stop-motion. During the process of making, we were aware of the difference between these two mediums, and we used them mindfully. We considered time, symmetry, shapes’ movement, colours, and rules. By creating these pieces, based on the defined rules, We showed how a simple form goes through a process resulting in a complex outcome.
