“By exploring the tensile strength of acrylic rod and sheet, I discovered that it is a suitable and novel material for tension setting since it is not very elastic and it will hold the gem in place. The design inspiration for my works comes from the abstract geometric shapes from suprematism drawings. I have decided to use the circle as my main form for my work. In suprematism drawings, the artists tend to draw abstract and simple geometric shapes on their paintings to create an intriguing composition. ”
