Light and Sound Installation
Made in collaboration with Kasra Goodarznezhad

“This light installation was created as an experiment using industry-standard light fixtures. The goal of this work was to create an immersive environment using light and sound. Designed for a room where black drapes cover each wall, lights were digitally mapped to react and respond to the music that was playing. As the music played, lights would turn on and off. In this work, there are moments of complete darkness to give the audience a sense of losing where they are in the room. This artwork was created as a way to examine the dialectics of loneliness and the isolation we feel even amongst other people.”
