“Created using the original prescription bottles as reference, each piece in this collection of 29 pill bottles is altered to reflect the embodied experience of its contents: zopiclone induced deep sedation, prednisone caused intense swelling, and ondansetron, its relentless nausea. The material, a white commercial clay which has been bisque fired, was chosen for its sterile, plaster-like appearance. By refusing uniformity, the work rejects museum replica culture, instead asserting that each object’s aura lies in its irregularity. ”
