C’est qui?/喂/Who’s Speaking?

Graphic Design
2026
A hand-stitched, square-format publication presented in English, French, and Mandarin, serving as the counterpart of the acrylic installation from thesis project "Lost and Found Between One Word and the Next." The book follows a lone figure through a single phone call and the internal multilingual chaos it ignites. Because a phone call offers no visual cues and no time to rehearse, it becomes a uniquely quiet site of language anxiety. While the accompanying installation makes "translanguaging" a shared, physical space, the publication offers a private look at the internal scramble as one mind navigates the cracks between languages.
