Way to Nostalgia

Poem by Tim Hu. It starts with the warm feeling The road, the building, the trees, it’s all familiar It’s always been there, nothing seems to change I keep walking on the road that I used to walk every day I remember all the good things that happened there The memories are bitter and sweet But it becomes history, beyond touch Fading gently with the sunset Fading into oblivion I am falling into that emotion I am on the way to nostalgia Everything stays unchanged But I have changed I am walking on the snow The tree is still there I wish the time can go backward But it’s linear Memories are frozen Snowflakes are falling It ends with the cold feeling I am leaving this place with nostalgic emotion
