Reflecting on the entanglements and impacts of multiplicity within our urban spaces and the quantum social of our physical and digital ones. It can be overwhelming to find and position oneself with any certainty.
“Featuring a near-human-sized clay Raven, staring into a circle of hexagonal mirrors lined with moss, Nether & Heaven is a mixed media sculpture that evokes reflection on quantum social impacts and the entanglements of manmade environments. The Raven peers intently at their reflection within multiplicity, but can they see with any clarity? Sand interrupts the moss and pools below the up curled lip of the base, suggesting the fragility and temporality of all things.”
