A casual greeting is a collection of personal stories told through figurative sculptures accompanied by offerings from the artists to the public within narrative-framed workscoinciding with the everyday happenings of our group of artists.Juniper Patrick, Felicity Talbot, Thisbe Simonson, Les Caplan, and Matthias Badejo begancreating an ongoing series in early 2023. This body of work reflects and responds to theawareness of how others see us, how we see ourselves, and the human need to position thiswork.

“This work highlights the common or familiar without emphasizing or downplaying the challenges associated with disability by confronting the idea of how we are seen instead of how we see ourselves when thinking about difficulties, differences and disabilities. "The horror genre taught me about my disabled self," "for better or worse, it is the one genre that has been open about disability." Lopez, Kristen, 2021”
