Jiulong Lake Park

Nanjing, the Ancient Capital of the Six Dynasties. Jiulong Lake, in Nanjing's Jiangning District, reflects the city's historical focus over ecological priorities. This project addresses the lack of ecological initiatives in Jiangning’s post-pandemic developments, highlighting its unique and strategic importance.

“No shape aligns more closely with nature than the circle. The park is envisioned as a giant sponge, its circular pores forming functional zones while the spaces between them transform into fluid pathways. This design breathes life into the park, creating an organic system that seamlessly connects people and nature.”
