Cellphones are a necessary component within our lives today, yet, our increasing reliance on the technology has allowed it to interrupt our daily social interactions with one another. People have developed a habit to instantly attend to their phones no matter the situation, where their emotional/information satisfaction can be gratified.ReConnect is a digital platform that provides a framework which facilitates conversations between adolescents to develop mutually agreed phone usage during in-person social interactions; avoiding unnecessary emotional tension experienced in relationships (i.e friends, romantic relationships, family, professional relationships). It consist videos to help educate adolescents and the public about the pervasive phone behaviour (Phubbing), helping audiences to understand the issue from the perspective of those who have been left alone during the social interaction.ReConnect also provides a casual conversation guide to assist adolescents in bringing up the issue with their peers, as well as suggesting a collaborative activity to keep each other accountable with phone usage during face-to-face interactions.
