How can beauty come from ashes? How can healing rise from brokenness? Inspired by the Japanese art and philosophy of Kintsugi, this illustration tells the story of eternal restoration. It portrays Christ’s broken body, symbolized by the vase, as taking in the ashes of death and transforming them into new life. Just as shattered pottery is mended with gold, the Son of God restores us with the blood that flows through Him.

“Jesus told her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying (John‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬ ‭NLT‬‬)”
