Redesigning President's Choice Shot Glasses

The President’s Choice “Set of 6 Shot Glasses” packaging was redesigned collaboratively by Angela Lam and Ming Zhao.Many shot glasses are often marketed to consumers through the same rectangular packaging, while using full-colour photographs to entice the consumers into purchasing them. Although the rectangular-prism may be the most practical shape, the lack of variety makes it difficult for each brand to stand out from the rest of the competition.In particular, the rectangular shape of the President's Choice "Set of 6 Shot Glasses" packaging had been redesigned to reflect the nature of the shot glasses, which are commonly used in a lively environment. Therefore, two other strong structural forms, such as the pentagonal prism and the pentagonal anti-prism, were chosen and merged together to replace the commonly-used rectangular-prism.
