Toronto On-Ground Subway Stations

A series of all 5 TTC subway station platforms with the "Island Platform" design and built on-ground.Location: Wilson, Yorkdale, Lawrence West, Glencairn and Warden station.

“This is a documentary series that captures special platform design which is used in Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway system. There's multiple platform design that has been used in subway system around the world. In Toronto TTC subway systems, only Wilson, Yorkdale, Lawrence West, Glencairn and Eglinton West Station on Line 1; Keele, Old Mill, Victoria Park and Warden Station on Line 2; and Kennedy, Lawrence East, Ellesmere, Midland, Scarborough Centre and McCowan Station on Line 3 are using on-ground platform design. In these stations with on-ground platforms, only Wilson, Yorkdale, Lawrence West, Glencairn and Warden Station are using "Island Platform" design but not "Side Platform".”
