Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train, Route #5
Painting
Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train, Route #5, 2021, Watercolor and Metallics on Paper, 11" x 14." The colourful abstract painting is part of my Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train Series. This original artwork is painted with watercolor heavyweight watercolor paper. Instead of paint brushes, I use toy trains to create colourful marks and lines on the white surface. Color Route #5 has red, green, yellow, blue, purple multicolors and metallics on a white background. The colourful painted lines are layered and create structure and depth on the surface.
