Given a client and an existing condo space, we were tasked to create an interior suited towards the clients goals. I was tasked with the clients James & Shirley. The concept of my design is recall and recollection. The intent of this design is to recall aspects of the client’s previous country property and connect it within their new business home with the use of a mix of transitional and contemporary design. This will attain a cheerful, comfortable and connected sanctuary with a natural flow from space to space, while also reducing the feel of isolation and stress of their daily lives. A combination of the use of natural materials, clean lines, mixed woods, carefully painted surfaces and metals, and natural daylight will embrace the present trends while acknowledging their past country home.
“To connect back with their country property, a combination of transitional furnishings will focus the use of a natural materials, salvaged wood, earthy colors, and clean modern lines, without the space being to cluttered.”
