This is a book I have created that is s reflection on my 2020 dairy. I always keep a diary for every year and I write down what I did during the year, so in 2020 and the pandemic I had to stay in, and that caused my 2020 dairy to stay blank since I didn't travel or go anywhere. This artist's book is symbolizing my house and by opening windows and doors the message pops out to "stay home". Also, I have placed papers in accordion style attached to the roof that is in form of a diary with blank pages to address my real-life diary. For the windows and door hinge, I used the popular bookbinding technique called the piano hinge.
