The Moment In-Between

I love capturing fleeting moments of human movement—actions that are impossible to freeze in real life. Some motions, like a dynamic gesture or a swift movement, vanish in an instant. Sculpting such actions, which we can’t pause in real time, is both a challenge and a passion that I enjoy expressing through my art.There have been many moments in my life that I’ve captured with my camera—later mesmerized by their unexpected beauty. Inspired by this, for my first bronze sculpture project, I explored the idea of a human figure in the midst of an extraordinary action. Since I am portraying a moment suspended between movements, I titled the series “The Moment In Between.”
