THE SOCIAL STANDING OF A HOUSEWIFE

This is a school project that we are asked to pick an article and demonstrate it through any art form we like. My topic is about how housewife is being seen less value in society but it is actually a respectful career. I sew a transparent apron with a red liner to represent the traditional housewife image and how their hard work is being ignored by people (Transparent). Then added a mixture of housework connected material (ex: different seasoning and dust) on top of the apron to cover up the article. To read the text, readers need to experience the daily part of being a housewife- clean up the mess and by doing so it revalues this job.
