A compact exploration of wood’s diversity, this piece balances rigid construction with organic decay within a strict 12-inch cubic footprint.

“"Forest Echoes" is a sculpture that reflects the interaction between nature and human touch. Using a mix of reclaimed wood: construction lumber, hardwoods, weathered boards, plywood, veneers, twigs, driftwood, and burned wood. The sculpture it takes its shape from a milk crate, within the assignment constraints of a 12”x12”x12” portable recycled wood, artwork. The surfaces reveal a blend of shapes, edges, voids, textures, and colors. ”
