08: Shot Nerves

This piece is my depiction of anxiety, with the dark stormy background illustrating the deep ache of anxiety festering within the body. The central form acts as the source of the energy propelling the nerves outwards. I used cellular and biological imagery in this piece as I feel very connected to my own nerves, they can be hyper-sensitive and depicting nerve-like lines directly felt like the closest representation.
