The Memento Mori Skull was a conceptual piece based on research of 15th century memento mori objects in Europe. Memento Mori objects serve an intimate experience for the user as they are worn to remind the wearer of their inevitable mortality. Although dark in visual, the concept is meant to be positive as it is to remind the wearer to live everyday to the fullest and enjoy the life they have. This piece was casted in bronze and finished with various techniques and polished compounds.
