Heartbeat Wearable

Wearable Arts
2021
Heartbeat Wearable is a wrist-based interactive piece that responds to your pulse using light. When you place your fingers under the band to check your heartbeat, the LEDs begin to glow in a rhythm that mimics it.The idea is to take something internal and usually invisible, like your pulse, and turn it into something you can see and interact with in real time.

“This project is about using wearable technology in a more personal and comforting way. Instead of focusing on performance or efficiency, it focuses on something simple: your heartbeat.By turning that into light, the wearable creates a small, responsive interaction that encourages you to slow down and pay attention to your body. It’s meant to feel calm and reassuring, more like a quiet moment than a piece of tech.”
