“In this experimental group of paintings, I explore the space between my digital presence and physical existence in the world as a young adult growing up with endless technological mediation. My facial features painted on each panel of acrylic become more blurred by the previous. Although the whole image resembles my likeness, it alters something about my face beyond my control. I curate the image I want to share with the world, but I cannot control how I am perceived. ”
