Acrylic on Skateboard
"Skate Liborius" was originally a huge Gothic Revival church in St. Louis, Missouri that later became an iconic skate park. After being abandoned, it was taken over and transformed by skaters into a space for community, art, and movement. The church’s interior is painted onto a skateboard, focusing on its architecture and how the space has changed. The stickers skate around the board and are inspired by skate culture, referencing some of the skaters that once enjoyed the space.
