“Immense personal transformation transpires during liminality, a mental space where the body can begin to feel unstable as one questions their internal belief system as well as the structures on which the world is built around them. Despite the pain brought on by liminality, it is also a chance for discovery and recreative power. The ghostly figure represents the past and future self, someone familiar yet featureless and undefined. The fire is a powerful and inescapable sign of transformation that beckons you to accept what once was and embrace what is yet to come.”
