Health Hack Network
Service Design
2018
What came out of this project was the recognition of the blurred and fragmented borders between objective Western-based health care networks and those who exist in a more holistic and homeopathic network. While recognizing the degrees in which one can exist within both, I also aimed to recognize the influence which some components of this network impress upon others.
“In the Winter 2016/17 semester, for Professor David McIntosh's Global Mesh: Internet, Networks, Globalization and Digital Resistance course, our final assignment was the research and creation of a network which did not previously exist. The project involved two components: 1. a written rationale of 1500 words outlining your network’s theoretical foundations, its structure and its function; and 2. a series of visualizations of your network, representing its development from an initial concept to a full map of your network in the medium of our choice – drawing, painting, video, performance, photo, etc.”
