When time is linear, it becomes an oppressive construct, perpetuating a colonial paradigm that fosters imperialism and rationalises societal harms under the guise of a speculative benefit. This illusionary promise ultimately glorifies conquest as the pinnacle achievement. In stark contrast, Indigenous perspectives on time, place, and space reject the linear agenda. To enhance the understanding of this ideology, it is crucial to acknowledge that in Indigenous epistemologies, humanity does not position itself as superior to its surroundings. Instead, humans are regarded as equals within their physical environment, engaging with all facets of life rather than confining interaction solely to their lookalikes. The SpaceTime Manifesto attempts to deeply immerse itself in the nuances of nonlinear time.
