1953 Cuban Ford Fairline Convertible

This drawing reflects on the memories I had with this car during my trip to Cuba last winter.
“This drawing was inspired by a 1953 Ford Fairline convertible owned by the brother-in-law of our friend who lives in Cuba. She lives about an hour from where we stayed, and he took my family and me on a tour of her city, and we also visited her home. I love vintage cars, so being able to have the experience of riding in one all day was amazing. A few days later, I had the chance to sit in the driver's seat of the car and talk to my friend's brother-in-law a bit, and he let me take the reference photo for this piece. This was a drawing that reflected on the joy and amazing memories of my trip with special people in my life.”
