Upcycled Fabrics
This project explored the up cycling materials in the fast-fashion industry. Many fast-fashion have failed designs that eventually end in landfills. Therefore, what is the overall opportunity to pick up a discarded garment and up cycle it as a new sell-able product?
“With the COVID-19 pandemic it is clearly necessary to up cycle breathable fabrics that could be turned into hospital masks for personal use. In other words, why can't we utilize the affordable and good fabrics from fast-fashion stores? ”
