CRACKING ALGORITHM

I explored how masters use light and shadow to evoke spatial experiences. I focused on conveying a human scale within massive environments.I created this work in Rhino to explore a dark space cut by light, where shadow becomes a central element of beauty. The project captures standing inside a vast, empty environment that evokes insignificance and freedom, encouraging contemplation amid monumental blocks. Large monolithic forms emphasize scale and gravity; intentional emptiness lets light and atmosphere shape the experience over excessive form. The cracking algorithm introduces disruptions within these surfaces, contrasting quiet expanse with tension between order and breakage. Prioritizing emptiness’s power, light, shadow, and mass craft a contemplative scene—echoing the truth: light shines glorious against deepest darkness.
