Painting 2/3 of my Coffee series that are inspired by Richard Diebenkorn’s still life paintings and their loose paint application. Coffee represents gathering and conversation as well as a way to end your meal. Family gathering is something that has been lacking in my life since the lockdown and this is my reflection on my longing and frustration to return to normalcy.
