“Symbiosis celebrates the interconnection between artists. These artworks are made individually, but are brought together to create a homogenous structure. Soft and fragile artworks intermingle and transform one another. As these textiles intertwine with painting, they facilitate an overindulged visual experience. Colourful, bold, and tactile materials become agents of a visceral emotional expression. The similarities between the process and material qualities of these artists’ work hint at a shared consciousness. An organic mess of art becomes a collaborative installation through the exploration of intuition and spontaneity in art making processes. In collaging and remixing the artworks together they become a new entity.”
