“Over the span of one semester, I explored the multiple meanings and interpretations of the word anaphia. What began as a literal understanding of the loss of touch evolved into a broader investigation of connection, disconnection, and proximity across different contexts. Through a series of experimental, 2D, 3D, and 4D works, the project examines how touch can be absent even when closeness is present, expanding the meaning of anaphia beyond the physical into emotional, spatial, and digital experiences.”
