Traces of Home

This body of work explores memory, heritage, and the Lebanese diaspora, examining how they shape personal identity. Although I was raised outside Lebanon, my connection to it remains strong through family stories, music, and cultural traditions. Much of my understanding is imagined or inherited, filtered through photographs, songs, and meaningful objects, which directly inform my oil paintings on canvas and wood. This body of work acts as a visual archive of my experience, reflecting on the ways cultural memory is preserved and reimagined through art.
