Communal Design

I want to redesign a new idea/way of condo living. I want residents to feel as if they are living within a neighbourhood; a community feeling. I want residents to know one another, want to help out one another when need be. I want to create spaces where residents are able to gather with other residents, and get to know people they may not have otherwise met. I want to design social spaces where residents not only are able to relax, but get to know one another. I want to design transformable spaces that can be used by all residents, all the time, for any purpose necessary. I would love to make communication between residents effortless; trying to make it feel like it should be part of everyone’s everyday lives. I want to create a neighbourhood like feeling, where it has pretty much, never been seen before.
