Biophilic healing center in the hospital setting. A place for wellbeing.

“This thesis project is designed to be a health care creation place that is engaged with a direct and indirect natural aspects within the hospital setting to help in the retreat process of patients and to enhance the wellbeing of all of the occupants such as patients, hospital associates, and visitors. Additionally, this design was inspired by the understanding of the connection between the nature and the community to create a space that helps visitors, patients, and hospital associates having a stress-free atmosphere for a better healing outcome and staff retention, according to Roger Ulrich, the use of healing gardens can improve the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of patients as well as the quality of the clinical care. Moreover, the goal of this project is to offer a great opportunity to the patients to experience a healing process within a mesmerizing environment that reflects the magic of nature. ”
