Boreal is a condensed sans serif typeface. The overall design is geometric in nature but features organic stroke swells and natural curves to give it an approachable organic appearance. The origin of the name Boreal comes from the Boreal Forests of upper Canada. This name was chosen as the tapering design of the strokes mimics the appearance of a tall evergreen tree trunk.
