“Easy as Pie" discusses the irony of accepting culture through cuisine while discriminating against the people who create it.Of course, having a taste for taco salads and being racist are not mutually exclusive. While the starry-eyed idea that food allows us to experience, and therefore accept other cultures might be an easy one, it’s unfortunately not true. (McNeilly, 2017)
