“Sketching is often the first step to an artist’s completed work. With my sketches, the abstract and gestural features of the sketches is to me, a completed piece of work. Focusing on lights and shadows, mark-making, composition, and storytelling, these sketches displayed to illuminate my thought process and inspiration for my art style.”
