தாத்தா & அம்மாம்மா Thatha & Ammama

"Thatha & Ammama" means Grandfather and Grandmother in Tamil. This ink drawing depicts a combination of two of my worlds. Both my grandparents who are positioned in the setting of a Canadian landscape, share the life I had as a kid in India combined with the current land I stand on. The body of work shows a certain respect and acceptance of the two worlds; the life I couldn't have now if it weren't for my Thatha and Ammama.
