Fractals as an infinite visual loop not only echo the very essence of our living world but also indicate how all lives manage themselves to thrive. Therefore, I am excited to push the boundaries by creating this new life-sized self-similar drawing that utilizes the entire human figure.

“I am deeply fascinated by the mathematically computer-generated images of fractals. The notion of self-similar patterns repeating themselves on different scales countlessly seems magical. I can't help but wonder if such an infinite visual loop not only echoes the very essence of our living world but also indicates how all lives manage themselves to thrive. Therefore, I believe the fractal images of observational studies from life models provide answers.Having tested the idea of visualizing fragmented facial elements from one of my previous projects and generating two fractal-looking images, I am excited to push the boundaries by creating this new life-sized self-similar drawing that utilizes the entire human figure: this latest hybrid and constructed figure drawing on paper with ink pens sourced from my life model studies.”
