Topic: Landfills, Land Pollution, and the Global Waste Trade Common Human Activity/Object: Over-packing & Travelling Synthesis: overfilling luggage shows the state of the earth’s land where we are disposing heavy and large amounts of waste every day. It also represents the waste trade between countries who are in disagreements with one another as to who will keep the unwanted garbage and take responsibility. Notes: The image depicts overpacking, but rather than the suitcases containing clothes and travelling necessities, they are filled with heavy and overflowing amounts of garbage. Such as banana peels, plastic water bottles, opened cans, six pack rings, straws, broken earbuds, and used utensils. It shows the excessive amounts of garbage we carry with us throughout our lives and continue to expand throughout lands and the various places we go.

“Garbage is being shipped between countries for cheaper disposal due to the unmanageable surge of human waste.”
