Urashima Taro Animation

My third/final video of Workshop 2 and screenplay based off the Japanese fairy tale Urashima Taro. A combination of the previous projects, bringing the graphics and text animation together and widening the scope to retell a story.

“I took this project as a chance to learn Illustrator to create my own graphics for animation and to be more organized by writing a screenplay. Due to my animation background being rooted in editing and motion graphics, I had to take a stylized approach to this. I chose a paper aesthethic which worked with the storybook theme and added some flair through motion graphics transitions, various text animations, attention to detail, and a hint of animated UI.”
