THESIS PROJECT ( Senior Home supporting Children's Daycare)

The basis for this project originally stemmed from my passion for developing something unique and supportive to the social and political aspect of the built environment by looking at different age groups. As the world moves further, age segregation is everywhere especially in respect to institutions and social spaces. Age segregation leads to less socialization between different age groups such as between seniors and children. So at first I have researched and found a way or attribution in the development of an architectural space that would break down the barrier between these age groups and merge them together for a united future generation.

“Social separation of old and young in this generation should be taken into account and to do so the society needs help in bringing in the differences of ages specially the old aged and young children together in a social space where they can interact with each other through common activities. ”
