“Home is Where the Heart Is” intertwines my personal geography with the universal sentiment of belonging. The photo transfer technique layers my childhood home onto raw canvas, overlaid with hand-drawn maps that trace the contours of a neighbourhood rich in memories. This piece is a reflection on the longing for the comfort and innocence of one’s origins, inviting viewers to contemplate their own notions of home and the spaces that hold their hearts
